The Witches Book Cover Redesign

Idea:  Book cover redesign for The Witches. The Witches is a children's dark fantasy novel by the British writer

Roald Dahl. The story is set partly in Norway and partly in the United Kingdom, and features the experiences of

a young British boy and his Norwegian grandmother in a world where child-hating societies of witches secretly exist in every country.

 

Concept:  To give the book a grimoire effect; look of a witch’s spell book and to make the experience of reading about witches more thrilling. Usage of symmetry in the design, is to create balance, harmony, order, and aesthetically pleasing results.
